The environmental services division includes waste management and water. In the rest of the world the water and waste operations are run through Proactiva, a 50-50 joint venture with Veolia.

In 2006 Environmental services accounted for 30% of FCCs revenues. About half of the environmental business was urban waste in Spain, about a quarter was water in Spain, and about 22% was international business in both sectors.
